Who is Moon Fox?

about me photo Moon Fox Energy

I’m Miss Moon Fox. Moon Fox for friends. I also have a human name but I love Moon Fox more.

I’ve been surrounded by animals for my whole life. By choice. I think I started talking as a child just to be able to beg my parents to get me an animal friend (and to be able to sing). I was drawn to animals and animals were drawn to me.

Somehow everywhere we went, there was a baby bird that fell from the tree and that I took home to nurse it to life. I’d love to tell you it was a happy story, but it ended up being yet another day for a broken heart for this little animal loving girl saying goodbye to her feathery friend flying off over the rainbow.

A few years later, I took in two little chicks, just hatched. To everyone’s surprise, I heard their chirping and stroked their soft white feathered bodies every morning for years to come. This was a start of turning the sad baby birds story around.

Then came a turtle, a fish, a hamster, a parrot, a mouse family, a rabbit, a guinea pig couple, wild cats, sensitive dogs, no pig though. I loved each and everyone of them with fierce love and each and every one of them reflected back what needed to be healed in me.

They became my great teachers. They showed I have to take care of my own emotional pain if I want them to be ok. I can’t be the best pet parent when I’m completely depleted.

Fast forward, this little girl grew up, travelled the online and offline world to find techniques and gather the knowledge that could help her furry, feathery and bare-skinned friends and herself be and feel more alive in this world that’s sometimes more challenging for sensitive creatures.

From psychology, trauma, subconscious rewiring and nervous system reset to intuition, energy healing for pets and so much more. I’ve since developed my own methods of trauma-informed energy work for sensitive animals and their caring humans.

I believe there’s beauty in inviting all parts of the whole into my work with humans and their animals: the mind, emotions, the soul, the physical body, the energetic body and the connection of the whole to the world. Every little piece of the puzzle of ourselves matters.

Whenever I worked on the physical body of my animals, trying to ease their (or my) pain, get rid of rashes, itchiness or nervousness, just working with the physical body didn’t make that much of difference as when I started working with the energy. There were underlying issues that had to be resolved.

The energy work makes work on everything else more powerful. The rest is then a piece of Sacher cake.

I use energy healing as a powerful ignition of the fierce being inside you and your animal. So that stress falls off and energy starts flowing through your nervous system canals again.

My clients often tell me how these sessions changed their lives and the lives of their animals: from problems once constantly overruling their lives and overpolluting their minds to these same problems fading as if someone slid the intensity slider on the color-correct to the far left, leaving problems washed out of the picture.

From “My animal feels my stress and I feel so guilty because I suck as a pet parent” to “I’m grateful my animal showed me where I need more support and I finally see my worth as an animal parent” and “I’m grateful for my beautiful life with my dog/cat/horse/rabbit…”.

If you’re a sensitive soul doing your best to deal with this world, with an autoimmune condition, chronic pain, stress or a cheeky immune system, I’m inviting you to try the sessions and enter the world of finally living an abundantly beautiful life, where you can feel deeply loved and free to finally travel to lavish, coconut-bejeweled beaches.

To those regular clients who have experienced my energy sessions and I feel they’d benefit from even deeper work, I send a personal invitation via email to a portal for closer, more personalized, all-areas inclusive work and join me in creating a symptom-free, abundance- and love-filled happy pet parent life. So keep your ears pricked for a personal message from me in Moon Fox Letters (you can subscribe here if you haven’t yet).

Kind words from my clients

What a wonderful experience! I reached out when my puppy had a negative encounter with a larger dog and became very withdrawn. Whatever I did, there was no improvement (looking back, he was probably reacting to my stress, too!). After the session something switched. I felt so much calm and relief. My puppy also relaxed. I’m happy to report he’s now as playful as before when meeting other dogs. Thank you!

I never knew my cat’s behavior had so much to do with my own struggles. Thank you so much for opening my eyes to it. The package of 3 healing sessions for both of us was perfect.

I highly recommend working with Moon Fox Energy. I came here on a recommendation by a friend and even though I was a bit sceptical at first I was blown away. My Bella’s pain is practically gone now and the vet is impressed that the injury healed so nicely. Love the caring approach, too. We need more people like you in this world. You’re awesome.

Why is distance energy healing so good?

It’s a gentle, non-invasive support for your animal friend and you. Needles are needless here, but imagine an IV vitamin energy cocktail sent directly to your animal and to you through invisible world veins aka energy pathways, filling you both up with all the good atoms – little energy cells that get into your energy body (we all have an energy field around us, our animals too, an even bigger one) and fill it up with the most beautiful, restorative, potent energy fuel.

And your energy body looks like the most romantic small town gazebo in the fresh autumn, when all the fairy lights turn on all at once and your heart glows with electrified gratitude and awe. Your energy body responds. Energy travels with the speed of light and our animals love basking in it. They’d roll in it all day if they could.

The problem is we’re not aware we transmit energy all the time and most of the time what evaporates from our energy (and skin) pores are unfortunately stress molecules.

Our animals feel that, soak them up like a hungry pacman and carry the stress around like an overpacked hiker. This naturally slows them down. Like stress slows us down, the one we carry because of too heavy expectations from our moms, bosses (sometimes the same thing) and ourselves, responsibilities (we need to be perfect animal parents, friends, employees, daughters, partners,… right?), regrets or unhealthy beliefs about the world, our lives, others and ourselves.

This all shows up in the energy body, which is one with the physical body. Emotions are energy, the body is energy. We suddenly start feeling the tension in the neck, stone-hard shoulders or exhaustion on the level of living your life on the truck race track, ouch.

Energy shows up in your animal’s body, too. More injuries because of more tense muscles, different allergies or spending the nights owl-eyed and clacking claws on wooden floors instead of warming your feet in the bed.

Good news: Just as powerfully as our animal friends respond to stress, they also respond to positive, healing energy. They are like fluffy antennas that pick up energetic signals and respond to them with lighting speed. It’s natural for them to be drawn to the energy of healing, compassion and balance.

What exactly is distance healing?

Distance energy healing is a non-invasive, gentle way of supporting your pet’s natural regulation and nervous system rebalancing. It’s based on the idea that physical or emotional imbalance is a result of imbalances or blockages in the pet’s and their owner’s energy field.

distant healing

The important thing to know is that sending and receiving energy in a distant healing session is just as powerful as if you or your pet had a session with me in person because energy transcends time and space.

Before the session, I’ll ask you to fill out a short questionnaire. You’ll get your very own slot for your animal and/or you so I can focus on and direct my energy towards you (two) only. At the time of the session, just find a comfortable, quiet and cozy space for you and your pet. You can put on some relaxing music and breathe gently.

During the session, I will send healing energy and love through my palms to your pet’s physical body and energy field, as well as your own, depending on the package you choose. This supports the body’s innate ability to restore balance, and provides emotional, energetic and nervous-system regulation.

Okay, so is this for my super special clerk donkey, too?

Remote healing is suitable for all types of animals, furry, feathery or furless friends you live with in your home and those you meet in the woods, fields, meadows or the sea.

So whether it’s your queen cat, sheriff dog, professor guinea pig, mogul horse, safari guide lizard, grumpy grandpa rabbit, scholar hamster, spy bird or any other special animal you care about, they are all welcome here. Pick your slot and let’s get their energy (over)flowing with joy.

Head over here for some more interesting details or drop me an email if you have any questions. I’m always happy to hear from you.

Some fun (and a little more serious) facts about me:

  • I’m an extroverted introvert aka ambivert. I recharge when I’m in nature with my dog or when I’m surrounded by contagious laughter and friendly faces.

  • I have a very sensitive pup. Since she was a puppy, she’s been more irritable, excitable, hyperactive and very sensitive to food – food allergies and all. With her I learnt what helps calm down a very excitable dog, what creates more damage long-term (usually connected to the environment and how you feel, I talk about this in Moon Fox Letters, too) and what helps you keep your sanity. Sensitive puppies teach us valuable lessons like: find more good friends, keep the table clean at all times, learn to trust yourself (even when the puppy school teaches otherwise) and never underestimate the power of the word no to overgiving grandmas who want to feed your puppy with an abundant sausage assortment.

  • You know how sometimes you can’t help your own family with something you do best? Or how you don’t notice what the issue in your relationship is because you’re too close to it?
If this was your dear friend’s relationship, you’d see everything perfectly: the issue, the root cause and all the possible solutions.
This is why I often get energy shifting support for my dog (and myself) from other practitioners, because I noticed I can be too close to my pup or to my issues and need support with it. And it feels great.

  • I think we often get help way later than it would be good for us. Life could be so much easier. But we were taught to complain less and if we get support we sometimes have a feeling we’re making things bigger than they are. We can also feel unworthy of help or maybe even stupid for not being able to sort things out on our own (it’s not that complicated, right?). I’m learning how to get support way sooner than I used to. And this has brought some beautiful connections with lovely, kind souls into my life. Life gets richer by receiving too, not just giving.

  • I wish money would secretly multiply overnight in my bank account (ooh, this should be a vision in my next meditation). I love getting new courses, love learning new things, soaking up information about so many different topics (short list here). A rainforest mind (I love this term for multipassionate people) can have a wallet thinned as fast as the Amazon forest is losing trees (so sad! Let’s do something together about this last thing, what do you say?).

  • Cheese and chocolate – the fastest (and unhealthiest way) to change my sad tears into happy humming. A healthier way: the nervous system exercises I also talk about in Moon Fox Letters

  • I wish there were more medical professionals who would leave more potential negative outcomes out of their treatment plans and include a more optimistic style of encouraging people to choose more salad and less cheese.

  • When I’m not diving into psychology and trauma research or energy work, I try to use my creative mind in many ways: to create art, to write Moon Fox Letters (subscribe if you’re into any of this), to find solutions for more sustainable living (my mom rolls her eyes), to create productivity systems for my business, to convince my dog that poo isn’t a muffin (well, she’s creative too, what can I do 😅), to find resilience after every hardship…
